Barbering is rapidly becoming one of the most exciting sectors in the hairdressing industry. At Reflections Training Academy our advanced Barbering courses offer you the chance to train with highly skilled, professional Tutors equipping you with all the tools you need to become a successful Barber.

Perfect for Hairdressers looking to expand into Barbering in Bristol and Birmingham, this FREE* advanced courses offers you the chance to upskill with our experienced, professional Tutors equipping you with all the tools you need to become a successful Barber.

You will develop the techniques to create different looks including clipper work & hair styling, and gaining a greater insight into client communication. Further opportunity to refresh your English and Maths skills available.

You will attend the Academy fortnightly over a15 month period (attendance can be tailored to suit you) with the opportunity to work with real clients to perfect your skills and showcase your creative and technical ability.

Your work will be assessed throughout the course through practical assessments and assignments.

Who can join?

Barbering Level 3 NVQ Advanced Diploma

About the course

Looking to start a career in Barbering? Or maybe you’re an existing Barber who wants to upskill to get the edge on your competitors?

With funding available through a government loan, the Level 3 NVQ Advanced Barbering Diploma at Reflections Academies is the course for you.

Within this 50-week / 14 month course with weekly sessions at the Academy (attendance can be tailored to suit you) you will have the opportunity to work with real clients to perfect your skills and showcase your creative and technical ability.

Your work will be assessed throughout the course through practical assessments and assignments.

Here, Miguel, who previously completed his Level 3 NVQ Barbering Diploma via Learner Loan with Reflections Academies, talks us through his experience.

Who can join?

Anyone aged 19 or over looking to get into Barbering/existing Barbers wanting to upskill.

Cost

You may qualify for a Learner Loan. A Learner Loan is provided by the Government to support adult learners by paying the fees in the form of a student loan which the student only pays back, gradually, on completion of the course. Hairdressing Apprenticeship

About the course

The Level 2 Hairdressing Apprenticeship is an exciting introduction to the world of Hairdressing. This 18-22 month course offers the opportunity to progress to a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship and permanent employment.

Working full-time in a salon (which we can assist you in finding) your role will include:

• Meet and greet clients..
• Shampoo and condition hair at the basin.
• Provide refreshments to clients.
• Assist with salon hygiene and appearance.
• Support and assist Stylists.

Your weekly training (at the Academy) will include all aspects of hairdressing including both practical and theory sessions on everything from cutting to colour theory, textured hair, hair-up and more.

Who can join?

Anyone aged 16 or above with an interest in Hairdressing.
